Cheap shots aside, the Islanders are still a joke of an organization. People give the penguins shit for milking the draft, but I hate to say it but the Isles had three consecutive years of having top 10 draft picks – one of which was john tavares (he’s really worked out well huh?). I wouldn’t expect anything less than this from a team from new york, though. Sorry, Islanders fans, you can’t buy your hockey teams like you do your baseball team.
